4 amazing shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Well, finaly here it goes my story of the fabolous week at the end of May to see 4 shows of Bon Jovi in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

I arrived to Lisbon airport on the 26th of May at 10h30, a friend of mine Anabela arrived at 11h15.
At 12:45 the German Wings go to the skies.
At 14:00, time to eat. What a good surprise I had. I ate a menu with 1 pizza (small but awsome), a coke and a kitkat. 6 euros I spent.
Me and Anabela arrived to Stuttgard at 16:30 (+1 hour than Lisbon).
At 17h00 we get the train till the main station.
17h30 Anabela went to her hotel (Pedro Pico her boyfriend was also there).
At 18h00 I arrived through line S1 to the stadium.
At 18h30 after I gave a big round I found out the "Canninstatter Wasen" the place where Bon Jovi will play. Just had my name on the list of the Backstage area with number 27.
Everyone was talking german and I didn't understand almost nothing. Well, it's life.
At 19h00 a german friend of mine named Andrea arrived.
It was a long night where everyone continue to talk in Germany but I met a lot of people and sometimes I talk with them in english.

"Sat, May 27, 2006 in Stuttgard, Germany @ Canninstatter Wasen"

On the 27th the day of the show at 5h45 Pedro Pico, Anabela and Lena arrived.
At 9h00 was made a line of 4 by 4. I was with numbers 25, 26 on my side and 28 behind me. Andrea was number 28.
At 12h30 I bought 2 t-shirts, 1 tour book and 5 badges of Bon Jovi.
14h00 finaly me and all the backstage fans enter to a special area.
At 15h30 we went to our places in front of the stage. I stayed in front of Richie, a little to the right almost at the midle of Richie and Jon.

At the end of the day VETRO played 25 minutes, NICKELBACK played 52 minutes and BON JOVI played for 2h27.

The show finished at 22h07.

I have to say that I loved Nickelback, it was my first of 6 shows of Nickelback and they were really great.

About Bon Jovi, well. It was an amazing show. I will write below the setlist of the show and some words from the official Bon Jovi site:

After the Munich show I went with Andrea to the hotel. We stay there with another 3 friends.
Before I went to bed I was on the net for 20 minutes to see my emails and try to answer some.

On the 29th of May I got up at 08h00. I went to the center of the city to find a photos center. I copy 907 photos of the first 2 shows to a DVD to release the space of my compact flash cards. I had to delete everything of the cards to take more photos on the other 2 shows.

At 11h30 I left Munich by train to Insbruck in Austria.

Arrived to Insbruck at 13h20.

And I arrived to the OlympiaWorld in Insbruck at 13h45 more or less, this time I was number 12. Not bad, hehe. The show it will be on a park on the side of the OlympiaWorld.

At 16h00 I took a photo of the stage.

At 16h30 rain started to fall. The waiting is starting. One day, one night waiting for the big day. At least me and all my backstage friends were below the stadium without rain and wind.

At 21h53 the night falls and everyone started to sleep with tents and everything.

Tue, May 30, 2006 in Innsbruck, Austria @ Olympiaworld

At 15h00 we (the backstage members) started to line up.

At 16h00 we finaly got inside in front of the stage.

At the end of the day EXCUSE ME MOSES played 20 minutes, NICKELBACK played 53 minutes and BON JOVI played for 2h05.

It was a very windy, rainy and with snow show. Bon Jovi played less time than on the other shows. But it was a great show. I will write below the setlist of the show and some words from the official Bon Jovi site:

It was snowy (on May 30!!) and sleety and slushy and rainy -- just an ugly mix of precipitation! 8 degrees celsius! Brrr... thank you Bon Jovi fans for sticking it out for a great show (betchya lots of tour sweatshirts sold!) Get home safe -- get dry - get warm -- get ready for tomorrow's show in Bern, Switzerland. (FYI - the weather report for Bern tomorrow is light rain throughout the day before being mostly cloudy. But bundle up -- 40 degrees fahrenheit is the low! ) This is a SUMMER TOUR?!
"

After the Insbruck show I went very fast to the main train station.

On the train station a small confusion started.

At 2h41 I went to "Winer Walzer". At 4h40 stoped in "Feldkirch". At 6h20 I stopped in "Zurich". Changed trains and went to "Bern" at 6h32. I arrived in Bern, Switzerland at 07h30.

At 8h30 I went by foot to the Stade De Suisse where Bon Jovi played that night.

I arrive there about 9h15, 9h30. I stayed with number 72.

Another normal day. Line up in the backstage line.

After the Bern show I went to the train station.
The train left at 00h04 from Bern. Some stops in the middle: Feldkirch (Switzerland), Basel (Switzerland).
I arrived in Basel at 07h12, arrived in Karlsruhe HBF (Germany) at 9h00 and at 9h07 I left from Karlsruhe HBF and arrived at Stuttgard Hbf (Germany) at 10h03.

In Stuttegard at 12h30 I went to lunch in an italian restaurant. I ate a big Calzone with some cokes. Wow, very good. Almost a week eating nothing good.

At 14h00 I made the check-in on the hostel.

15h30 I went to bed to sleep and I woke up at 07h00 of the next day.

During the night I got up and went to the net twice. 20h00 (on the 1st of June) and 04h00 (on the 2nd of June).

My mobile phone woke me up at 07h00.

At 08h30 I arrived to the Stuttgard Airport.

I made the check-in at 09h00.

09h30 I went to the plane.

10h05 I left from Stuttgard

Arrived in Lisbon at 12h15 (-1 hour than Germany)

It was a great week. I lose 4 kilos, from 68 to 64. But I saw 4 amazing Bon Jovi shows and 4 from Nickelback. I met a lot of great fans from all over. From Germany, Holland and Italy. My favourite shows were the Munich one and then the Stuttgard and Bern ones. The Insbruck was great but had nothing to do with the other 3. I took amazing photos of the 4 shows. Soon I will add to my blog some of the best photos I took.

One week later I went to Milton Keynes to another 2 amazing shows.

"Sat, Jun 10, 2006 in Milton Keynes, UK @ Milton Keynes Bowl"
"Sun, Jun 11, 2006 in Milton Keynes, UK @ Milton Keynes Bowl"

I will write soon my story in UK.

HAVE A NICE DAY everyone.
