The tour of 30 Seconds To Mars is: "Seasons Tour".
It was my 7th 30 Seconds To Mars show.
The concert was awesome. With Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Stephen "Stevie" Aiello - bass, guitars, keyboards, backing vocals (2013–present).
The Seasons Tour is the seventh world tour by American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars in support of their most recent album It's the End of the World, But It's a Beautiful Day. It was announced on November 9, 2023 just after frontman Jared Leto became the first person to legally climb the Empire State Building in New York City. It began on March 14, 2024 in Santiago, Chile at Lollapalooza and will end on September 19, 2024 in Auckland, New Zealand. The first non-festival show of the tour is in Krakow, Poland.
I arrived at the Altice Arena at 05:40 am.
First one to arrive.
We queue on the shadow of the trees just a few meters outside the pavillion. Cool day with friends.
At 6:30 pm we got in. I was a little worried because I didn't know how many VIPs with early entry there were. But I got lucky. I saw occupied spaces on the right side of the catwalk but in front of the catwalk it was almost all empty. I was 1 or 2 meters away from the middle in front of the catwalk that had some stairs.
Before "30 Seconds To Mars" in Altice Arena, played Jaguar Twin, he played 31 minutes.
I had never heard of him. I didn't really like what I heard. He was sincere in some situations but his music isn't really my thing.

Finally was time for 30 Seconds To Mars. They played 119 minutes (93 minutes + encore of 26 minutes) with a 6 minute break before the encore.
It was a great show. Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Stephen "Stevie" Aiello.
Jared Leto always moving everywhere. A lot of energy. Jared speaking some Portuguese every now and then is always cool.
On "Closer To The Edge" the final song Jared called on stage the fans. This time I was lucky. And got in to the stage. Just went to the middle of the stage to see everything. Always a cool experience. I saw Jared, even Shannon just in front of me. And Steve also passed by me on the stage.
Crazy moments. Took a few photos, crazy photos from the stage. Amazing memories that will stay forever.

The tour of 30 Seconds To Mars is: "The Monolith Tour".
It was my 6th 30 Seconds To Mars show. Last show of the European Tour.
The concert was awesome. This time with Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Stephen "Stevie" Aiello (guest bass and keyboard player).
I arrived at the Altice Arena around 13:00.
Around 14:00 I got in the Backstage Area to the Meet And Greet with Jared Leto and Shannon Leto. Our host was Shayla. She was cool with us. Always trying to help us.
Received the VIP Merchandise I had The "Kings And Queens" Package.
They gave us some pizza vegan or pepperoni. I went to the pepperoni one. So good. With water. Ok!
16:00 time to finally see Jared and Shannon, the Leto brothers. They talked to us, around 150 people and replying to some questions. They also told us a few of their stories. They still talked about coming here again to Portugal in the summer of 2019. But they are still looking for places. But maybe a Camp Mars Europe.
I took the photo with Shannon and Jared. Cool photo, a rock photo. Jared told me "ah, the rock guy", haha. On the Meet and Greet before I told them I like rock and even metal.
Before "30 Seconds To Mars" in Altice Arena, played Xande, he played 31 minutes.
I like his sound. The columns on my side were not good. Was not a good experience. But I actually liked to hear his music.
Finally was time for 30 Seconds To Mars. They played 87 minutes.
It was a great show. The band is not the same again. This time is Jared Leto, Shannon Leto and Stephen "Stevie" Aiello.
On the "Rescue Me" song Jared stopped and called on stage a portuguese singer named Diogo Piçarra to finish the song with him. Was like a big surprise.
On the "Walk On Water" Jared stopped again to help a fan. He asked for the people to open space in the middle for a security to go there help the fan. And then did the rest of the song.
On "Closer To The Edge" the final song Jared called on stage the fans. This time I was not so lucky. I was already on my way to the stage on the right side and the security of the band stop everyone right on the time I was on the stairs to the stage. The stage was full already. I had to run to the front of the stage and got the end of the song. Still took a few photos on that time.

Suicide Squad director David Ayer has set the DC Comics fan world a-buzzing after an interview with Total Film [via DC Vertigo Daily] in which he speaks of Jared Leto's performance as the Joker in almost messianic terms.
Leto, the Oscar-winning actor and frontman of 30 Seconds to Mars, was tapped back in 2014 to play the iconic role in Warner Bros.' film featuring iconic DC Comics supervillains. Of the opportunity to play such a legendary character already immortalized by the likes of Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger, Leto told Billboard last year, "to take on this nearly Shakespearean character -- that's what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right? [He's] this beautiful disaster of a character -- what a big challenge."
Ayer describes the experience of watching Leto-as-Joker as one in which "the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.
"What Jared has done is absolutely incredible," he gushes. "When he steps onto the set the world stops. Everything stops. What he’s done is so powerful, so menacing, so palpable, you can feel him. The crew stops working and just watches him. I have to get everybody going again because he’s so fascinating."
Fans will have to wait until the film's official release date of Aug. 5 to see it for themselves.

Jared Leto has combined his musical and film talents to create a tear-jerker of a short film.
The 30 Seconds To Mars frontman and his band interviewed a series of celebrities - including Kanye West and Lindsay Lohan - along with a handful of everyday citizens to concoct a collective image of the wild city of Los Angeles in his short film entitled, City Of Angels. The 11-minute video uses the band's single by the same name as a soundtrack as it sees Kanye revealing that the city is all at once his 'dreams' and 'nightmares', and Lindsay giving a heartfelt admission that she has 'disappointed' herself.

'The City of Angels is where I was able to find myself again': Lindsay Lohan appeared in a beautifully natural state as she spoke about her experiences of the same city
The Yeezus rapper opens the short film, and he starts by reeling off a few buzzwords that remind him of Los Angeles, which of course include 'Kim'. Kanye - who is engaged to Kim Kardashian and the father of her baby daughter, North West - makes the emotional statement: 'this city took my mother, but it also gave me my child.' 'The City of Angels is my paradise, my nightmares and my dreams,' explained the artist who has faced and built bridges over plenty of media scrutiny in his career to date.

'They think I'm a goody-goody': Selena Gomez spoke of how her critics think of all ways to put her down
Speaking about the way he is treated, he goes on to state his opinion that: 'People let their frustrations out on me.' But the rapper is not without a sense of humour, as he proves when he jokes about the way people that are not fans of his work have a tendency to curse in reference to him. 'My name is Kanye West, but actually I'm one of the few people whose middle name is 'motherf***ing,' he laughed, adding a rare moment of hilarity to the otherwise sad, heartfelt film. And Kanye is appreciative of his legendary status, highly recommending it to others in a somewhat self-aware statement: 'People want fame, and I would never tell a person to not want that because it's f***ing awesome, actually.'

Truth: James Franco, who knows a lot about experimentation and trying his hand at various creative outlets, spoke about dreams having the 'flip side' of 'disappointment'
Lindsay appears as a make-up free, raw version of herself, displaying a brave smile as she dishes out some particularly personal words about herself and her life. 'The City of Angels is where I was able to find myself again, the real me,' the 27-year-old actress divulges. 'I've disappointed myself the most in my life. To not be like, 'wake the f*** up, look what you have. This is what you wanted.'
The naturally stunning star gives an impressively honest view on life and Los Angeles, as do the others interviewed for Jared's project. Corey Feldman gives a heartbreaking explanation of how he was pushed into acting as a young child, before he even really knew himself.

Imagery: The short film featured Jared Leto walking through the streets of Hollywood in an all-black ensemble
'My parents needed money, so at that time it became my responsibility to pay the bills,' the actor said, adding: 'I've been to the top and I've been to the bottom more times than most people have ridden in an elevator.'
On a more positive note, Juliette Lewis could not be more thrilled with the city she calls home, gushing: 'Oh my god, I'm SO in love with LA!' Olivia Wilde also adds to the list of reasons why Los Angeles is a special place, explaining how it has allowed her to 'experiment and grow and mess up and redeem myself.' James Franco, who knows a lot about experimentation and trying his hand at various creative outlets, accurately notes that 'dreams and expectations also have the very dark flip side of disappointment.'

Picturesque: The short film had plenty of the City Of Angels music video interwoven throughout
But he goes on to explain why he has gone head-on into the depths of the industry. 'Who knows what's going to happen after this, and if this is the only life then why am I not doing everything that I want to do?' Actor Alan Cumming is not such a fan of the town affectionately nicknamed the City Of Angels, however, at one point stating simply: 'I don't like it.'
Selena Gomez, in spite of her other positive statements about Los Angeles, sheds like on her issues with the place too. 'They think I'm a goody-goody, then I'm boring, then I'm a fame w****, I use people,' she says of her critics.
'Oh my god, I love LA!' Juliette Lewis could not have been more complimentary about her city
'I wouldn't have anything if it wasn't for this city,' says Jared himself, who explains that 'City Of Angels is a short film about this wild, weird, and wonderful land, Los Angeles, California. A place that has left its mark on the world's imagination and a place where dreams can actually come true.' The successful actor and musician - who also directed this short film - says that he made it for 'the dreamers who know that sometimes the impossible is indeed possible.' The poetic piece of work strings together images and words from celebrities who - materially speaking - have it all, and juxtaposes them with interviews with 'real' people, some of whom have been broken by Los Angeles. In a simplistic but provocative film setup, Jared also speaks with a group of celebrity impersonators, homeless people and a prostitute.
And more still: Ashley Olsen, who has been acting in Los Angeles since a very young age, divulged thoughts
Heartfelt: The film interviewed Christopher Lloyd Dennis, who is a Superman impersonator in Hollywood
He interviews these brave people on the same black backdrop that he interviews the celebrities and they all wear their hearts on their sleeve to an equal degree, such that you wouldn't know who was already famous and who wasn't if it wasn't for the recognisably factor. Jared spoke with a selection of Los Angeles residents who were courageous enough to discuss their lives on film, and their names are Christopher Lloyd Dennis, Holly Bevan, Haywood, Heather Levinger, Anthony Warfield, Jovan Rameau, and Yosh.
They speak of their struggles in the city that they came to in order to make their dreams a reality.
Impressive: Jovan Rameau, who came to the USA as a refugee from Haiti, does an excellent Michael Jackson impersonation on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles
Strikingly similar mannerisms: Holly Bevan, a Marilyn Monroe impersonator, spoke of her life in Los Angeles
The band's music video for the track of the same name - City Of Angels - is interwoven throughout the series of interviews, evoking further images of dreams being simultaneously made and broken in the unique city. Jared directed the film, which features Alan Cumming, Ashley Olsen, Corey Feldman, James Franco, Juliette Lewis, Kanye West, Lily Collins, Lindsay Lohan, Olivia Wilde, Selena Gomez, Shaun White, Steve Nash and Zoey Deutch. City Of Angels was released on Tuesday, and can be seen on 30 Seconds To Mars' Vevo page.
Courageous: Heather Levinger spoke to Jared about her life in Los Angeles in heartfelt, brave detail
Silver man: Anthony Warfield is highly impressive as a statue man on Hollywood Blvd, and gave a tear-jerking account of his time in the same city
His story: Haywood spoke of his journey to Los Angeles to meet his mother, who was ultimately homeless
The tour of 30 Seconds To Mars is: "Love Lust Faith Dreams Tour".
It was my 5th 30 Seconds To Mars show. Second of this tour after the Marés Vivas show. And third show I went to the stage.
The concert was awesome like always.
I arrived at the MEO Arena one day early at 20:00 (already with about 10 people on the door where I was). Long wait till 18:30 (when they opened the doors on show day). It didn't rain on both days but it was very cold.
On show day I was asked to do a video about with it means to be an echelon. Hope to see it in a MARS video one day.
Before "30 Seconds To Mars" in MEO Arena, played "You Me At Six".
The first band was You Me At Six. They played 44 minutes.
I didn't know them before. They were awesome. A lot of rock. I like their sound.

Finally was time for 30 Seconds To Mars. They played 100 minutes.
They were amazing. Jared always great. In the breaks of some songs Jared always said something. On 1 of the last songs Jared throw me a pick with the triad on one side and the symbols on the other side. In the final music "Up In The Air". Jared called me again to go on stage (I was front row on the right side of the catwalk). On stage I took some photos of Tomo and Shannon and take a photo with Tomo and Shannon. Awesome memories that I will never forget.

Earlier this week, Jared Leto bemoaned his lack of a summer vacation, a fact due in no small part to his job as director on Thirty Seconds to Mars' "Do or Die" music video.
But, as it turns out, he can't put all the blame on that clip. After all, as is often the case with him, Leto was actually pulling double duty during the filming of "Do or Die," shooting a second Mars music video ... this one for the track "City of Angels." And, from the sound of things, this one's gonna be epic.
"I'm making two videos at once. I've been working on 'City of Angels' while I was shooting 'Do Or Die,' " he said. "It's our new single here in the States, it's a very important song, a very personal song.
"It's also a longer song, and while I'm still figuring out what [the video] needs, it will certainly feature a couple of pieces of music, minimum," he continued. "So, yes, it's going to be another Thirty Seconds to Mars short film; it's going to be powerful and emotional and definitely something special."
And for a guy whose past credits include shooting a mini-movie for "From Yesterday" in China, pushing boundaries with the hyper-sexualized "Hurricane" and employing an army of extras and animals for "Up in the Air," that's saying something.
What Leto wouldn't say was just when "City of Angels" would be finished — "sooner rather than later," was about as specific as he'd get — but he did let MTV News in on his band's plans for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, where they're up for three Moonmen, including Best Rock Video. And it probably won't surprise you to learn they're going to try and top their arrival at the 2010 show, when they stormed the red carpet with a bevy of bikers.
"Well I would like to maybe replicate the 'Up in the Air' artwork," he laughed. "Wouldn't it be great if we showed up with a zebra? It could be pretty amazing."
A zebra would be pretty amazing indeed. Just don't try to ride it, Jared.

Jared Leto had plans for a summer vacation. Instead, he ended up making a music video.
"It was going to be the first-ever planned summer vacation of my entire adult life. I blacked out the time and said I was going to do it, and then, lo and behold, it went from an overzealous three weeks, to two weeks, then a week, then five days, then nothing," he laughed. "But, in exchange, I have this beautiful little film. I got these experiences with these people I'll never forget, so it's a fine trade-off for me."
That "beautiful little film" is Thirty Seconds To Mars' "Do Or Die," the spiritual sequel to their stirring 2010 live clip for "Closer to the Edge." It was filmed during the band's globe-spanning summer tour, and, like "Closer," features heart-wrenching interviews with members of the Echelon.
So, in a sense, it is a love-letter to Mars' fans ... but, as is often the case with this band, "Do Or Die" is also something more.
"So much has changed about us, about our audience, about our shows, so I wanted that to be a part of it, also. Most of the interviews, I did myself, so they're really intimate. It's me, it's them, and it's the camera," Leto explained. "What I've found is, that if you talk to everybody long enough, you find an incredible story. Every single person has a moment in their life, something that they've found a solution for, a story to tell. Some are funny, some are really intriguing, and if you ask the right questions, you get interesting answers."
One of the most touching moments comes at the very beginning of the video, where Leto speaks with a German fan he'd previously met in Berlin, who told him that his father had recently passed away ... and he'd played a Thirty Seconds To Mars song at his funeral.
Weeks later, almost by chance, Leto ran into him once again, at a Mars show in Austria. And, on a whim, he decided to have him tell his story once again, this time on camera. And though he'd interview hundreds of fans at Mars' shows over the next few months, this story stuck with him throughout. Which is why he chose it to lead off the new video.
"At the show in Austria, where there were tens of thousands of people, and I ran into him and interviewed him; he was the first interview of the summer, and he shared this story about losing his father, and what it taught him, it was really an organic and serendipitous and beautiful way to begin," Leto said. "He shared a really personal part of himself and we're really grateful to him, and that continued throughout all the interviews ... this is basically a document to how we spent our summer; not just us, but all of our amazing fans."

The second single from their album, Love, Lust, Faith And Dreams album, "Do Or Die" chronicles the band's backstage and onstage antics as they work to break a world record for the number of live shows (300!) performed during a single album cycle. This new clip is basically a love letter to the Echelon, and the explosive exchange of energy that takes place whenever they perform for them. Also to Leto's piercing blue eyes. And flowing hair. And... oh, right, we're back!
The love between Thirty Seconds To Mars and their fans is STRONG.
Filmed live abroad in Europe, the Jared Leto, er, Bartholomew Cubbins-directed clip opens on a young man describing the pain of his father's unexpected death, how he dealt with the loss, how he continues to do so, and the role that music has played throughout the entire grieving process. More confessionals are added to the mix, claiming that music is everything from a drug to the reason why they're even alive. Then, the video cuts to high-quality live performance footage, only occasionally swapping in scenes of the band helming a gigantic sailing ship. (Unless that's the tour bus...?)
Thirty Seconds To Mars are really pirates? We believe it.
Additional interviewees interject at a few more key points in the video, declaring everything form "I believe in music -- it's everything to me" to "the one thing that has never left me is music." Throughout cancer scares, divorce, job loss, death, and nearly anything else you could think of, music has helped these individuals persevere and continue to enjoy life. Likewise, Thirty Seconds To Mars seem so moved by the audience's emotions every time they perform live, "Do Or Die"'s concept seems to be that they want to return the favor.

I’m sitting in the dark writing this having just finished this little film and although I don’t feel quite done yet it’s time to let it go.
This is a story about an incredible adventure that we all shared together this summer. A summer that we will never forget. It’s also a reminder (for myself as well) to LIVE LIFE NO MATTER WHAT. But ultimately it’s a love letter to you all. The believers.
Even before I started shooting I thought of it as a companion piece to Closer To The Edge, a sequel of sorts, the next chapter. I knew it had to be special as Closer is held in such high regard by you all. So we worked hard. And then worked even harder. Sharing this journey with you all has been the gift of a lifetime and I hope you can see and feel that in this piece…our gratitude. It was difficult to surrender this one. I wanted to keep filming, continue the interviews, discover more, learn more and stay on the journey. But it was time and here it is. I hope it speaks to all of you and lets you know how much you mean to us.
