Sun, October 4, 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal @ MEO Arena
It was a sold out show.
I bought the ticket as soon as sales were announced. Bought the Premium Evanescence - Plateia Pé Package on December 12, 2025.
I arrived at the MEO Arena around 2:00 PM and immediately went to check where the VIP entrance was. When I got there, I was told they were assigning arrival numbers. I went over to a guy I happened to know, and he assigned me VIP number 25 (meaning there were 24 people ahead of me).
Security guards lined us up in two queues to enter through the same door. Since I had a VIP ticket, I was in the left line as we were to enter first while standard ticket holders lined up on the right.
We went in at 6:15 PM. We showed our VIP package tickets to get in, received the VIP package gifts, then headed down the stairs and into the arena. I went to the left side which was where I wanted to be facing the catwalk where I knew Amy Lee would be playing the main piano.
Scheduled times next.
Early Entry Check In - 18:00 - 18:25
General doors - 18:30
To start (1st band) at 19:00 -> Nova Twins
To start (2nd band) at 19:50 -> Poppy
To start (3rd band) at 21:20 -> Evanescence
The first band on stage was Nova Twins. They played for 35 minutes (19:00 - 19:35). Played a set of 6 songs.
I hadn't heard of this band before. I found out they were from London, UK. It's a three-piece group: a female vocalist who plays guitar, another woman on bass, and a man on drums. I didn't care for the songs. The guitar and drum work was good, but the music didn't really do anything for me.
I will write here the setlist:
01. Antagonist
02. Cleopatra
03. N.O.V.A
04. Choose Your Fighter
05. Hummingbird
06. Glory
The second act was Poppy. She played for 52 minutes (19:55 - 20:47). Played a set of 11 songs.
I had seen snippets of a few videos when I went looking for what she sang, and I actually liked them. I noticed she has a good voice and sang with a lot of power. She is from Boston, USA.
I enjoyed seeing her live, with the rest of the band playing in masks for the entire concert. A detail I hadn't noticed when watching some of her videos.
Poppy's Touring Band Members (2026)
For her live performances and recent touring, Poppy's backing band consists of:
• Johnuel Hasney – Guitar
• Jake Massanari – Bass
• Ralph Alexander – Drums
• Alexa Lynn – Second guitar (European leg)
I will write here the setlist:
Constantly Nowhere (from Tape)
01. have you had enough?
02. the cost of giving up
03. Scary Mask
04. crystallized
05. vital
06. Guardian
07. Public Domain
08. Time Will Tell
09. V.A.N (Bad Omens cover)
10. If We're Following the Light
11. new way out
The third band was Evanescence. They played for 97 minutes (21:20 - 22:57). Played a set of 21 songs.
This was my fourth Evanescence concert. The first was on May 30, 2004, at Rock in Rio (Parque da Bela Vista), Lisbon. The second was on December 12, 2022, at Campo Pequeno, Lisbon. The third was on June 15, 2024, at Rock in Rio (Parque Tejo), Lisbon.
Current band members:
Amy Lee – lead vocals, piano, keyboards, harp (1994–present)
Troy McLawhorn – guitar (2007–present)
Tim McCord – guitar (2022–present); bass (2006–2022)
Emma Anzai – bass, backing vocals (2022–present)
Will Hunt – drums (2007–present)
I loved the concert. Amy Lee always brings so much intensity to the stage. I loved seeing Emma Anzai on bass, she always plays with such power.
I made some Evanescence videos because I like having mementos that last forever; without them, I might sometimes forget certain details of the concert.
I enjoyed seeing Poppy join Evanescence live to sing a song: "End of You".
I will write here the setlist:
01. Sanctuary
02. Tell Me When You've Had Enough
03. Afterlife
04. Rapture
05. Going Under
06. Lithium (Amy Lee on piano)

11. Beautiful Lie
12. Wasted on You
13. Forever Without You (Amy Lee on piano)
14. Bring Me to Life
15. Imaginary
16. Better Without You
17. About Us
18. End of You (Poppy, Amy Lee & Courtney LaPlante cover) (with Poppy)
